Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0 Part 4

Pages 13 and 14 of Zombie Shark Bear, Episode 0.
Thanks to everyone who helped me get this comic finished!

Pages 15 -17 of Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0
Episode 0 actually ends in the middle of the upcoming Episode 2. Since the series is set up to have an episodic feeling and is set up to have a TV show feeling, I gave it a to be continued page and next episode preview using my rough layouts for the next chapter!

Pages 9 and 10 of Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0.
On Aqua, the primary law enforcement concern is keeping outbreaks from occurring.

With the end of the film, the comic reverts to its normal art style.

Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0 Part 2

Pages 5 and 6 of Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0.
The story takes place on a planet called Aqua since there are other stories going on at Earth right now. Zombies are nothing new on Aqua and humans have been dealing with them for hundreds of years already, and have finally reached the point in their medical advancement where the disease can be controlled in populated areas.
I went with this setting because we rarely ever get a glimpse at a world well after the fall to zombies and they’ve become commonplace.

Pages 7 and 8 of Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0.
I wanted to do something a little different with the zombies in Zombie Shark Bear, and to make the disease a little more like an actual disease, it affects people in different ways with a wide range of severity. So, we can have classic, mindless zombies all the way up to a mildly affected person who may-or-may-not become a serial killer.

Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0 Part 1

First two pages of my original online comic, Zombie Shark Bear. The look of these pages were inspired by the gritty feel of grindhouse cinema and this particular episode as a whole is designed to have a public service announcement film type of feel.

Pages three and four of Zombie Shark Bear Episode 0
Keeping with the rough look of the intro, the art style I used on these pages was heavily influenced by Gekidan Inu Curry’s witch labyrinth scenes fromMadoka Magica.
