One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
Chapter 707- B Block
This week's chapter picks up right where last week left off, with Bellamy and the other fighters of the tournament's B block engaged in a battle royale and we really get to see the heavy hitters of this section shine. I think I found the Fishman Hack and Former Gladiator Ricky to be the most interesting personally. Of course, the big mystery man Bartolomeo is just kicking back, probably to release his powers on whoever the last man standing is with dramatic flourish- my guess is Bellamy is going to get knocked out in one hit again, but we shall see.
We then cut over to Luffy who's still hanging out with Caven Dish, they're joined by Don Chinjao who calls out Luffy by name and stating that he'll be taking revenge on him for a beating Garp gave him several years prior. Caven Dish is pretty surprised by the revelation.
Over all, a pretty brief chapter with alot more action that we've seen in that past few issues. It's fun to see everyone getting their screen time even if alot of these characters won't be appearing after this. Like I said last week, it gives the feeling that even though these guys might not move forward, they're important enough to care about. I really liked the cliffhanger at the end and again Oda helps to give the world of One Piece a sense of depth and of things going on in it besides what the main characters are involved with.
