I'm going to keep it short with this entry, guys.
A certain priest at the parish I go to always likes to start his homilies with the saying, "God is good all the time, and all the time God is good."
It's a really great saying and in my experience is more-often-than-not true. That's not to say that I haven't had times in my life where I've questioned my faith or been troubled by events in my life, or even that I've never felt angry at God for the things that happen to me, because I definitely have.
But when everything is said and done and the smoke has cleared, I always find that there's a positive that I can take away from the situation that only helps to strengthen my bond with Him and help me to move forward.
